A Chinese couple suspected of murdering a Korean Internet broadcaster (BJ) in his 30s in Cambodia have been put on trial.

According to AFP and other foreign media on the 14th, the Cambodian prosecutor’s office announced the day before that they had charged a Chinese couple in their 30s on suspicion of murdering the Korean man CJP, whose body was found dead.

Prosecutors have charged them with “murder with torture” and if convicted, the couple could face life in prison, AFP reported.

Mr. was found. And wrapped in a red cloth in a village in Kandal province near Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, and left in a pond on the 6th.

Cambodian police have arrested a Chinese couple who run a hospital on suspicion of abandoning a body. The police examined the fingerprints on the cloth around the victim’s body, confirmed the identity of the Chinese man, and arrested him.

The couple told the police on the 4th that they had left the body when Mr A died suddenly of a stroke while receiving treatment at the hospital where they were operating.

Mr A was said to have received a serum infusion or injection at the hospital after entering Cambodia on the 2nd of this month. Cambodian police have been conducting an investigation into possible negligence during the medical treatment process.

Although some speculated that Mr A’s face was severely swollen and that he had been attacked, the prosecution brought charges of murder and torture against the Chinese couple.

However, the details of the allegations of torture are not known.

A’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed. Cambodian police have said an autopsy is needed to determine the cause of death, but the bereaved family is said to be opposed.

Fox News reported earlier that the body was found with a broken neck and bruises on the body.

The police are also investigating whether Mr A was injured before his death or whether the body was damaged during the process of leaving after his death.
