KOSPI and KOSDAQ weaken ahead of US FOMC

Ahead of the US consumer price index in November and the last Federal Open Market Committee of the year, the KOSPI and KOSDAQ indices recorded a weak trend today.

On the other hand, CJ and CGV continued to rise for 6 consecutive trading days as anticipation seeped in ahead of the release of Avatar 2, and domestic content-related stocks ended the market on a strong note on expectations for a rise’ r ban on the Korean market in China.

In addition, SPC Samlip posted an upward trend for two consecutive trading days on the back of a solid earnings forecast for the fourth quarter.

By sector, the equipment sector was strong.

Today, the won-dollar exchange rate is closed at 1307.2 won, up 5.89 won.
