Speaking at the International Economic Forum of St. Petersburg, Putin addressed concerns about a potential attack on Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, dismissing such discussions.
Putin emphasized the sensitivity of the situation but expressed confidence that a resolution coudl be found.He suggested guaranteeing Iran’s interests in peaceful nuclear energy while addressing Israel’s security concerns. He said he had communicated this position to President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Iranian leader Peseshkian Masud.
