A person was missing after a landslide fell on the road near Kundala Pudukadi on Munnar Top Station Road. The Tempo passenger who was returning with the tourists was the one who was involved in the accident. The accident happened at around 3pm on Saturday. The Tempo Traveler traveled by the natives of Vadakara was buried under the soil.

He was returning from a visit to the highest station. There were 11 people in the vehicle. Rupesh (40), who was with them, fell under the ground while running away. A search is on for Rupesh. After visiting the top station, the visitors returned to Munnar in three vehicles. A landslide unexpectedly fell on the vehicle that had gone before. Then the people in the vehicle got out and while pushing the vehicle water came pouring out again. According to the people who were with him, he entered the vehicle to take the mobile phone while the vehicle was being pushed.

The vehicle fell 500 meters from the road. The police and fire department from Munnar reached the spot and rescue operations were carried out. Heavy rain hit the area on Saturday afternoon. On August 6, a landslide occurred on the road at a bend, 100 meters away from the place where the landslide occurred in Pudukadi. While hundreds of vehicles were passing through this road, stones and soil unexpectedly fell on the road from the top of the hill. Traffic was completely blocked. Landslides have also fallen on the road in Elapetti West Division. Traffic from Top Station to Munnar was also disrupted.
