Law and Disorder: Jang Nara and Nam Ji Hyun Face Off as Rival Lawyers in Highly Anticipated Reunion
Good Partner: Jang Nara and Nam Ji Hyun Face Off as Opposing Lawyers
The SBS Friday-Saturday drama “Good Partner” has taken an interesting turn, as Cha Eun-kyung (Jang Nara) and Han Yuri (Nam Ji-hyun) met as opposing lawyers in the divorce lawsuit between Choi Jin-hyuk (Lee Tae-sung) and Lee Sun-hee (Shin So-yul).
In the latest episode, which aired in Korea on the 14th, Jin Hyuk visited Yuri and Song Hee visited Eun Kyung, who had recently become independent, to discuss their case. Since the two don’t have any children, their lawyer tried to persuade them to settle, but they insisted on going ahead with the lawsuit.
Jin Hyuk and Song Hee pleaded with their lawyers to file the lawsuit first, stating, “We will tell the judge everything that is frustrating for us. It would be frustrating to go ahead with a divorce when the other party won’t even admit their own mistakes.”
Eun-kyung and Yuri fought over the matter, following the wishes of their clients. After work, Yuri visited Eun-kyung and shared her experience with an unusual client, saying, “I was asked to file the lawsuit within the last hour, so I did it without a moment’s pause.” Eun-kyung replied that she had done the same thing.
Eun-kyung explained the competitive nature of divorce lawsuits, stating, “Nowadays, it’s even a battle to see who can file for divorce first. They haven’t done anything wrong, so it must be frustrating for them to be yelled at by the defendant. The competition to become plaintiffs is fierce.”
