He added, “I met President Roh Moo-hyun at that time and he said that he was very comfortable and like the uncle next door. He was a president. He was so easy-going and friendly. I learned his words and thoughts, and I fell in love with him.”
He said, “I often say, ‘I’m the uncle next door’ wherever I go. Even if it’s Lee Jae-joon, a person from the next door, a neighbor, there are things I learned from President Roh Moo-hyun’s appearance and words.”
Mayor Lee emphasized, “The Roh Moo-hyun spirit is our root, and we must move forward. We must constantly reflect and flow to the sea so as not to be ashamed.”
He continued, “May, the blue month of President Roh Moo-hyun’s dream of a ‘world inhabited by people’, where he left. I remember him. I will follow him.”
