People’s Power Representative Lee Jun-seok expressed his rejection of Ahn Cheol-su, the presidential candidate of the People’s Party, who insisted on ‘Ahn Il-hwa’ (unification with Ahn Cheol-su).

On the 26th, on CBS Radio’s ‘Bout’ on CBS Radio, CEO Lee answered directly, “I don’t like the unifying Ahn Cheol-soo.”

Representative Lee said, “Actually, I always do not want to join the party or participate in the primary on the conservative side, but I want to intervene in an election from this side, and then the pattern of appearing late to continue to unify it continues,” referring to Candidate Ahn’s sudden declaration of candidacy.

He said, “No one asked when I was running for mayor of Seoul, but suddenly, when I declared my candidacy, it came out that I would become the single opposition candidate. There was a lane change on our side in a situation we didn’t even know about,” he said.

He continued, “Candidate Ahn himself thinks he has gone through a difficult path in his own way, but since the conservative party said he would get votes, it is necessary to try to win a match inside the conservative party once, but he doesn’t do that.” Based on this, we want to unify it.”

Also, CEO Lee said, “What is absurd about[Ahn’s]development stage, when it was recognized as a pan-progressive in the past, he made concessions to former Mayor Park Won-soon and also to President Moon Jae-in. They said let’s bet, let’s compete, and the requirements are always strong.”

He continued, “What the hell do you have against us, come to us and break the atmosphere by constantly pushing such tough conditions? I have a strong sense of problem here.”

Chairman Lee also mentioned the original reason for candidate Ahn’s unification. He said, “Coming here, we keep talking about unification and still have a message. It should not be shaken in the fact that one’s votes will be gathered, so ‘There is no unification. But isn’t this a message that says, ‘It’s going to be easy,'” he said.

Also, based on Ahn’s approval curve, CEO Lee commented on Ahn, saying, “It’s not a family risk, it’s a personal risk.” He said, “Always at some point during an election, there is a section where the approval rating rises slightly by throwing the bipartisan theory at the point of criticism as the election battle between the two parties intensifies, and then there is a section where the approval rate goes down. However, ideologically, it comes and goes, so the support base tends to relax very easily.”

Previously, when the possibility of unification between Candidate Ahn and Yun Seok-yeol, the People’s Strength presidential candidate, was raised, Lee criticized Ahn several times in broadcast interviews and on his SNS. On the 23rd, on Facebook, “People who are not interested in unification have been talking about unification all day, but it seems that their head is full of unification” or appeared on MBC radio ‘Kim Jong-bae’s Concentration’ on the 19th and said, “‘Ahn Il-hwa’ ( Ahn Cheol-soo’s unification), but rather the word ‘ganilhwa’ (unification, ganbogi) comes up more.”
