On the 11th, Representative Lee Jun-seok, representative of People’s Power, said, “Rep. Jang Je-won said that there would be no conflict with floor leader Kwon Seong-dong and that he would not hold the ‘dandelion meeting’ on that day. Maybe it’s based on the story (I think),” he said, adding, “I hope that the loyalty with floor leader Kwon will continue until the end.”

Representative Lee met with News 1 at the site of former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min’s ‘Clash with the Instinct of the Beast’ book concert held at the bookstore ‘Booksass’ in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the same day and said, ‘If Rep. Jang is absent from the dandelion meeting, the private organization within the party mentioned by CEO Lee. In response to the question, ‘Will the concerns be dispelled?

Earlier, on his Facebook page, Rep. Jang announced that he would not participate in the dandelion gathering organized by the pro-Yun (親Suk-Yeol Yun) family, saying, “A brother is a brother, once a brother is a brother forever.” There will be no conflict. I believe in the sincerity of CEO Kwon.”

Dandelion is an abbreviation of ‘Listen to the People’s Heart (Lee)’, and it has the meaning of trying to understand the public sentiment like the widespread dandelion seeds. However, as it is known that a large number of lawmakers who are classified as pro-yun people are participating in the meeting, concerns have arisen that factional politics with ‘pro-yun’ may be revived. This raised concerns about the disclosure of Lee as well as floor leader Kwon.

Meanwhile, at the event, Chairman Lee shared his thoughts on the one-year anniversary of the inauguration of the party leader.

He said, “The last year was a year of hard work for me and a year of many regrets, and it must have been a year in which the people here have many other regrets.” “But this always rides a cycle. If there is a disappointing year, there will be another happy year, and after that, at another moment, you will always be rewarded for your hard work.”

He added, “That’s why I’m confident that if I always make efforts in the direction you want and expect politics to change, you will see the light, and I will be with you on that path.”

Representative Lee and former lawmaker Yoo are known as ‘very close’. After the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye, former lawmaker Yoo left the Saenuri Party and founded the Bareun Party in 2017. Before the 2020 general election, the two returned in harmony with the United Future Party, the power of the current people.

Yoo’s book concert today is meaningful as an event to break his ‘subtlety’. Former lawmaker Yoo, who is a presidential candidate, suffered a political blow after losing to pro-Yun (former Yoon Seok-yeol) candidate Kim Eun-hye in the intra-party primary for governor of Gyeonggi Province in the last June 1 local election.
