Level Up Your Gaming Experience: ASUS Unleashes BIOS Update for AM5 Motherboards with Turbo-Charged Performance
ASUS Releases BIOS Update for AM5 Motherboards with Turbo Game Mode
ASUS has launched a new BIOS update for select AMD AM5 motherboards, introducing Turbo Game Mode. This innovative feature is designed to unlock the full performance potential of Ryzen CPUs, providing an enhanced gaming experience.
Optimizing Multi-Core Performance
Turbo Game Mode is specifically tailored for users seeking the best gaming experience on multi-core AMD CPUs. By adjusting core usage and disabling the chiplet (2 CCDs inside the CPU) and simultaneous multi-threading (SMT), this mode enables a single thread to work with maximum efficiency. This is particularly beneficial for games that don’t leverage multiple cores.
Supported Motherboards
The latest ASUS BIOS update will be available for download for the ROG X870E Crosshair Hero motherboard. Additionally, the update will be gradually rolled out for the X670, B650, and A620 models.
Enhanced Gaming Performance
Disabling the second chiplet on the motherboard reduces latency during gaming, resulting in increased performance in games that run better with fewer but faster cores. Turbo Game Mode allows users to quickly switch between gaming mode and multi-thread mode, making it suitable for various types of work.
Enabling Turbo Game Mode
To enable Turbo Game Mode, users can update their BIOS and activate the mode in the BIOS interface.
