The visuals provided by HXL showcase the intricate die drawing of the AMD Phoenix 2 CPU, which exhibits a fusion of CPU cores stemming from different architectures. This processor ingeniously blends Zen4 and Zen4c architectures to deliver a remarkable computing experience.
AMD’s incorporation of the ‘c’ suffix denotes their adoption of a high-density architecture. By minimizing storage and space requirements, they optimize the density for multi-core model configuration. Notably, AMD’s approach differs from Intel’s E-Core, as they continue to prioritize multi-threaded capabilities by retaining simultaneous multi-threading (SMT) technology.
