Leverkusen advances to the Europa League semi-finals with a draw with West Ham

Bayer Leverkusen of Germany rose to the semi-finals of the European League after drawing 1-1 with its host West Ham United of England.
The team that recently won the German League title this season, for the first time in its history, benefited from a 2-0 victory in the first leg at home last Thursday, to win 3-1 on aggregate in the first leg and return match.
This became the 44th match in a row, during which Leverkusen maintained its unbeaten record in various competitions during the current season.
Leverkusen has become the first team not to suffer any losses in this number of consecutive matches in all tournaments at the level of the five major European league clubs, breaking the record, which was held by the Italian Juventus.
