Lewis Hamilton “Slower than expected. Insufficient downforce” / Mercedes F1 French GP Friday free run[F1-Gate .com]

Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes F1) finished the 2022 F1 Round 12 French Grand Prix Friday practice in 5th fastest time.

To meet the obligation to run a young driver in FP1 twice a season, Mercedes F1 ran Nick de Vries in FP1 instead of Lewis Hamilton at Paul Ricard.

As a result, Lewis Hamilton’s first day was only 60 minutes in FP2, but he said he wasn’t able to get the performance he expected from the car.
