After a passionate romance, Gu-moo managed to win the heart of Yu Gil-chae, portrayed by Ahn Eun-jin, and made a commitment to marry her. However, the plot thickened as Gil-chae discovered that Lee Jang-hyeon, played by Namgoong-min, was still alive. This revelation caused her to be torn between Gu-moo and Jang-hyeon.
In the final scenes of the episode, Gil-chae ultimately chose to let go of Jang-hyeon’s hand and stuck with Gu-moo, indicating that her salvation lies with him.
