Local media reported that Kwon Do-hyeong, a key figure in the ‘Terra Luna accident’, was hiding in a luxury apartment in neighboring Serbia before being captured in Montenegro. This apartment was only a 6 minute drive from the Korean Embassy in Serbia.

According to Serbian media outlets Nova and DL News on the 6th (local time), Mr Kwon bought a duplex apartment in the luxury ‘Ambassador Park’ apartment in Dedine, a wealthy neighborhood in the capital Belgrade, and lived there for several months.

As a result of checking the register, this apartment was bought by Han Chang-jun, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Terraform Labs, a close associate of Mr. Kwon, for 2 million euros (about 2.94 billion won).

According to the brochure that presents this apartment, Ambassador Park consists of 25 apartments, including a penthouse with a private pool. Security is thorough, with CCTV installed and security guards guarding the front and back doors at all times. It is said to be a luxury apartment complex where diplomats and rich people mostly live.

Looking at the interior video posted by the realtor, the apartment has three separate rooms, three bathrooms, and two closets, except for a large living room and kitchen. If you go up the internal stairs, you will reach a balcony on the second floor, where you can enjoy the views.

The apartment security guard saw Kwon’s photo and told local media, “There are no foreigners living there.” However, the nearby traders said otherwise. The supermarket worker said, “I think I saw Mr. Kwon here,” and the pharmacy worker also said, “The face is familiar.” “I saw it here,” he said.

One resident shared a specific experience, saying, “Once I saw a thin man with glasses and long hair sitting in an expensive black vehicle in front of the complex for a while and then went out.” This impression corresponds to Mr.

The two people lived here when they were on the red alert list of the International Criminal Organization (Interpol). In addition, DL News reported that the apartment is a 6-minute drive from the Korean Embassy in Serbia. The media highlighted the fact, “Korean authorities were working with local Serbian police to find Mr. Kwon, but Mr. Kwon much closer than they had imagined.”

The media also said that it was not clear how Mr Kwon could remain hidden for so long, and that it was doubtful whether the Serbian authorities had the will to track Mr Kwon’s movements and arrest him.
