Lydia Ko recently posted a picture of her hugging Jung with the short phrase ‘Soon’ on Instagram. There were also interpretations that ‘Soon’ meant marriage sooner or later.

Lydia Ko was born in Seoul in 1997 and immigrated to New Zealand with her parents when she was 6 years old. Although her nationality is New Zealand, Lydia Ko has continued her relationship with Korea, including entering Korea University in 2015.

Lydia Ko, who was called a ‘genius golfer’ as a child, won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and then a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Jung Jun is the son of Chung Tae-young, vice chairman of Hyundai Card, Hyundai Capital, and Hyundai Commercial. Jung Joon is said to be majoring in Philosophy and Data Science at Claremont McKenna College in California, USA.

Jun Jung worked at Hyundai Card as an intern in charge of user experience (UX) related to payment solutions in October 2018, and also participated in projects at Hyundai Motor Group’s advertising affiliate INNOCEAN in the US.

Meanwhile, the company said, “It’s the private life of the vice president’s son, so it’s not something the company can confirm by making a separate statement.”
