The registration process for the 2021 Common Admission Test (CAT) started today (August 4). Those who want to write the exam can apply online till September 15. Those who want to pursue higher studies in management education institutes including IIM can apply for CAT 2021 exam through the website iimcat.ac.in.

The exam will be held on November 28 this year. The exam is arranged in three stages. The exam will be held at 158 ​​centers across the country. The exam will be arranged in CBT or computer based format. Those who pass the exam can appear for the interview. Since 2020, many IIMs have been conducting interviews online.

CAT 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: In order to appear for the CAT 2021 Entrance Examination, one must have a degree with 50% marks in any subject, or equivalent CGPA marks. The standard is 45 per cent graduation marks for SC / ST students and physically challenged students. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of the degree and awaiting the result of the examination can apply for CAT 2021.

Step 1: Open iimcat.ac.in, the official website of IIM Cat
Step 2: After reaching the home page of the website, click on the CAT 2021 Registration Link
Step 3: Add your information required for CAT 2021 registration. Save the information you need to login.
Step 4: Now, fill in the CAT 2021 application form with your personal information and educational qualifications.
Step 5: Enter the name of your city. Select the six exam centers according to your preference in the city of your choice.
Step 6: Submit your CAT 2021 application form after paying the application fee.
Step 7: Download the application form you submitted and save it for future reference.

CAT 2021: Application Fee

The application fee for General Category students appearing for the CAT 2021 entrance examination is Rs. 2200 / -. At the same time, the application fee for students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and physically challenged is Rs. 1100 / -.
