A malicious complainant who rampaged through a community center demanding money for moving expenses and even slapped a public official has been reported to police.

The Gangseo Police Station in Seoul announced that it had received a complaint from a woman in her 50s on charges of assault and obstruction of official duties.

It was reported that on the 12th, this complainant made a fuss about a 30-year-old civil servant at a community center in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, saying, “I plan to move out soon and I owe about 1.6 million dollars” . won in communication expenses, so please give me the moving expenses.

When the public official refused, stating that there was no legitimate reason for the payment, the woman reportedly became angry and verbally abused and slapped her.

The police intervened on the spot following reports from nearby employees, but the public official expressed his intention not to punish the suspect for fear of further retaliation.
