However fickle the game of football might be, attending a match can often look the same.

fickle: capricious, changeable

No matter how much soccer is a sport that changes a lot, the intuition of the game is not much different.

In the Premier League and elsewhere, including Korea’s K League, match-goers can count on groups of dedicated, strong-armed fans to wave about ostentatious flags, blocking views of the pitch but adding to the matchday atmosphere in storied stadiums. Season ticket-holders, who book a specific seat in their club’s stadium for the entirety of a season, also know whom to expect as their neighbors.

match-goer: a person who has intuition
dedicated: dedicated
ostentatious: ostentatious, showy
storied: famous

Those watching the Premier League, K-League, and all soccer leagues can enjoy the game in the atmosphere created by a group of dedicated fans radiating energy and waving colorful flags. Their actions may obscure the view, but instead, they liven up the atmosphere of the game day at the famous stadium. Season ticket holders who reserve specific seats throughout the season can predict who will be seated around them.

On Saturday, that became true for some Korean fans who watched Wolves play at home.

This also happened to Korean fans who watched Wolverhampton’s home game last Saturday (April 20th).

Thousands of Korean fans have flocked to the Molineux in Wolverhampton, England since Hwang Hee-chan signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2021, braving English ticketing websites and questionable unauthorized resellers for a chance to see the Bull in action in the Premier League.

Thousands of Korean fans have flocked to the Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England since 2021 when Hwang Hee-chan signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers. To get a chance to see the Bulls in action in the Premier League, they had to fight for tickets on British ticket sites and dubious unlicensed resellers.

As of Saturday’s game against Arsenal, when Hwang made his first start for the club since February, that process became a lot easier. Wolves launched a special ticketing package for Korean fans offering a way to purchase tickets in Korean — and seats in a special section to make a trip to Molineux worthwhile for traveling fans.

Starting with Saturday’s Arsenal game, in which Hwang Hee-chan made his first start since February, ticket reservations have become much easier. This is because Wolverhampton has launched a special ticket package for Korean fans. By allowing tickets for specific sections to be reserved in Korean, fans were able to feel that their trip to Molineux Stadium was well worth it.

The Korean ticket package, available for purchase through the official Wolves app, includes a ticket to the game, entrance to the Wolves museum and a gift card for the shop. Korean fans are sat together in the stands and the purchase of the ticket also includes international membership to the club.

The Korean ticket package can be purchased through the Wolverhampton official app and includes game tickets, Wolverhampton Museum admission tickets, and club store gift cards. Korean fans can sit together in one place, and the package even includes a Wolverhampton international membership.

A small group of Korean fans used the promotion, which has not yet been advertised but is available on a newly-launched Korean-language app, on Saturday.

Although it has not yet been promoted, a small number of Korean fans have used this product. It can be purchased on the newly released Korean-supported Wolverhampton app on Saturday.
