According to Saju, he had reached out to Mammootty to grace his housewarming ceremony. During an interview on a television channel, Mammootty had verbally agreed to attend the event, leading to heightened anticipation among the attendees. However, due to prior commitments, Mammootty was unable to make it to the event, leaving Saju and his guests disappointed.

The following morning, Saju was approached by individuals claiming to have seen Mammootty at the event the previous day. “When I left my house, the first person I called to warm the house was Mamooka. While sitting for an interview in a channel, Mamooka was given the card and told to come that day.
Mamooka said in the interview that I will definitely come. All my compatriots heard this in the interview. But that day Mamooka was shot in Wagaman.
Then Ika told me she couldn’t come that day. But that day, even people I had not invited came to the event. People come home like this.
Then I doubted whether the food would arrive. People thought Mamooka would come. Then in the night came thunder and rain so everyone left and the program was over.
The next morning, when I went to the junction, people started asking me, ‘Didn’t you come yesterday?’ When I asked who had come, I asked if Mamooka didn’t come yesterday.
When he answered no, he said, ‘Go away, we have seen him’. I asked again if you saw Mamooka, Mamooka didn’t come to him. They said that the helicopter will not come to Panangad without a cough.
They had seen a helicopter arrive that night. They all say that Mammooka came in a helicopter, landed on my terrace, attended the event and then returned and climbed the rope. I have had such a good experience,’ says Saju Navodaya.
