Manchester United (Man United from now on) of the English Premier League (EPL) has hired goalkeeper Jack Butland (30) from the English national team on loan.

Manchester United said on its website on the 6th (Korea time), “We have agreed to a short-term lease contract for six months with Berland, who was a member of Crystal Palace. The contract period with Berland is until June 30.”

As a result, Manchester United managed to find a backup goalkeeper to replace Martin Dubravka, who returned to his original team Newcastle after completing a winter transfer market lease contract.

After joining Birmingham in 2011 and making his professional debut, Bertland played for Stoke City, Leeds United, Derby County and Crystal Palace. He also participated as a goalkeeper for the English national team at the London 2012 Olympic Games and participated with the English national team at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“I’m very surprised to have joined Manchester United, I’m proud of myself,” said Bertland, who joined Manchester United.

“Man United have great goalkeepers like David de Gea and Tom Heaton. I’m excited to train with them.”

“We needed three goalkeepers with a lot of experience,” said manager Eric ten Haag. I wanted that. By recruiting Bertrand, I was able to prepare for any contingency.”
