‘Seeds Likes’ Festival Cultivates Green Ideas, Local Flavors

FORLI, Italy – The third annual “Seeds Likes – Green Ideas in Turmoil” festival returns this weekend, offering a blend of nature, artisanal crafts, and⁤ local ⁣gastronomy. The event, held at corte San Ruffillo, promises a diverse program of‍ activities for all ages.

A Weekend of Workshops and markets

The festival, which⁣ is free to‍ enter, features an artisan⁢ market with over 30 exhibitors showcasing plants, flowers, jewelry, hand-painted fabrics, and regional food specialties. Attendees can engage with the artisans and learn about their crafts.

Sara Vespignani, organizer and⁤ owner of Corte San‍ Ruffillo, said the event⁣ aims to highlight local producers and promote sustainability. “Our goal is to create a meeting place, give visibility to⁣ small local⁢ producers and craftsmen,⁢ enhancing our territory and all its resources,” Vespignani said.

Activities and Entertainment

The festival offers a range of workshops, including yoga sessions from three different schools, botanical printing, fermented foods, string art, and porcelain making. Musical ⁢performances and other “emotional experiences” are also planned.

  • Saturday: The artisan market will⁤ be open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. A⁢ book⁣ presentation by Carlo Catani, “Conscious Kilometer,” is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Dinner, in collaboration with recovery times, begins at 7:30 p.m., featuring ⁢BBQ Geek’s grilled fish and vegetables, and ⁣Peace and Cream ice cream. A concert by ‘La Sanadora’ will follow.
  • Sunday: In addition to workshops, a flower-themed brunch will be held. ⁤An aperitif at sunset,costing 25 euros ⁤per person with reservation,will feature a buffet and organic wine from ⁤Corte ⁤San Ruffillo.

Food and Wine

Throughout the weekend, food and wine options will be available, featuring Corte San Ruffillo’s cuisine ⁢paired with oven-baked goods and fermented foods.

Sustainability Focus

Vespignani emphasized‍ the festival’s focus on sustainability. “Ther will be music, gastronomy, crafts, experiences to enhance nature and to reflect on the well -being of both the individual and the habitat, looking⁢ for new inspirations for a more sustainable tomorrow,” she said.

Event Information

The artisan market is free and open Saturday from 3 p.m. to 8 ‍p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
