Massive hacker attack on Ukrainian government site “Be prepared for the worst” | Reuters

The government has started an investigation. A foreign ministry spokesman told Reuters that Russia had been involved in similar cyberattacks in the past, although the source of the attack has not yet been identified.

Sites such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Cabinet Office, and the National Security Council were hit by cyber attacks. Ukraine and its allies are wary of possible military attacks by Russia.

No comment has been taken from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Kremlin has denied involvement in cyber attacks on Ukraine in the past.

The government site that was attacked by the hacker said, “Ukrainian citizens. All your personal information has been uploaded to the public network. All data on your computer has been erased.
