CANNES, France—As the advertising industry converges at the Cannes Lions International Festival of creativity this week, Meta is introducing a suite of generative AI features designed for advertisers and agencies. The social media giant aims to enhance campaign performance through its Advantage+ platform.
The expanded Advantage+ now offers tools for consistent branding at scale. advertisers can integrate logos, colors, and fonts to customize their creative assets. Meta is also testing new video generation capabilities, allowing brands to transform images into dynamic videos with animations, text overlays, and music. This feature promises to simplify the creation of engaging video ads tailored to specific target audiences.
Another feature under progress is video highlights. This AI-driven tool identifies key phrases and scenes to showcase a product’s value proposition more effectively. Additionally, brands gain access to Business AI’s new voice features, including AI-generated prompts and quick FAQs for ads.These features will be available on Instagram Stories and Facebook Reels in the U.S.
Meta is also broadening the test audience for customer experiences like Virtual Try-On,which displays clothing on virtual models of various shapes and sizes.
