Michael B. Jordan Chats With Elmo About Animated Film Swapped

Michael B. Jordan has appeared in a new Sesame Street video to promote the upcoming animated film Swapped.

Jordan provides the voice for a character named Ollie in the movie. The promotional clip, which is now available on PBS Kids and Netflix, features a conversation between the actor and Elmo.

The interaction focuses on the value of curiosity and building relationships within a community. During the chat, Jordan tells Elmo that questions is the best way to get to know someone.

Jordan further explains that Asking questions and making connections is the best way to learn about new cultures, music, food and so much more, noting to Elmo that they could learn a great deal from one another.

As part of the exchange, Jordan asks Elmo a series of questions regarding his identity and habits. These questions include what We see like to be a monster, what monsters generally like, and why monsters do not wear shoes.

The conversation eventually leads to a discovery that both Jordan and Elmo share a love for cherry vanilla ice cream.

Reflecting on their conversation, Elmo states that By asking questions, we can find out that even though we’re different, we have a lot in common.

The video concludes with Elmo asking Jordan for a hug before the two head off to get their favorite ice cream.

Swapped is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 1, 2026.
