Vance Luther boelter, 57, is in custody following a massive manhunt after the fatal shooting of minnesota Democratic state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark. The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest Sunday.
The politically motivated assassination also targeted Democratic state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, in a separate incident Saturday morning. They are currently in stable condition.

Earlier Sunday, authorities located Boelter’s vehicle in Sibley County, about an hour from Minneapolis. The vehicle contained evidence relevant to the case, though specifics were not disclosed.
