As the regular season progressed, Jia Zhi’s home run output slowed. After hitting 12 home runs in August, he has only hit 2 home runs from September to now, allowing him to accumulate 53 home runs in the season.
Although the frequency of the hits has decreased, Jia Zhi is still the most feared hitter in the major leagues this season, winning the American League MVP award.
