National Pension Service appoints Han Jeong-rim as new head of National Pension Research Institute

The National Pension Service has appointed Han Jeong-rim (53) as the new director of the National Pension Research Institute.

Director Han, whose term begins on the 2nd, graduated from Jeonju University’s Department of Mathematics, received a master’s degree in applied mathematics from Ewha Womans University, and a doctorate in statistics and applied mathematics from Sungkyunkwan University. From 2000 to recently, he worked as a research fellow at the National Pension Research Institute.

The new director’s term of office is three years, and he will be in charge of the National Pension Research Institute’s work, including pension system, financial projections, and research on fund management and evaluation.
