The Washington Nationals’ home stadium has been ranked 15th out of 30 Major League Baseball ballparks in USA Today’s 2026 MLB stadium rankings, according to a report from FOX 5 DC.
Nationals Park landed near the middle of the pack in the annual evaluation, which assesses stadiums based on general atmosphere, design, location, amenities, food, and character. The ranking described the venue as a “solid, newer stadium” but noted it lacks overall character, citing a new video board that appears identical in size to the previous one.
The San Diego Padres’ Petco Park claimed the top spot in the 2026 rankings, praised as the “perfect ballpark,” while the Tampa Bay Rays’ Tropicana Field remained in last place at No. 30.
Other notable rankings from the Northeast division include the New York Mets’ Citi Field in 9th place, Yankee Stadium at 25th, and the Philadelphia Phillies’ Citizen Bank Park in 14th position.
The evaluation comes as baseball season progresses and fans return to ballparks across the league, prompting renewed discussion about where each team’s home venue stands among the best in Major League Baseball.
The rankings were produced by USA Today, which evaluated all 30 MLB stadiums using consistent criteria to determine their relative standing for the 2026 season.
