The First-Person Escape Room Game “Chiyo” Launches Steam Trial Version

Independent game studio Nimbus Games, in collaboration with SCRYsoft, announced today that their highly anticipated first-person perspective escape room game, “Chiyo,” will be released on October 31st. The trial version of the game is now available for download on Steam.
Set in the eerie Edo period of Japan, “Chiyo” immerses players in a horror-themed experience as they navigate a haunted mansion. Taking on the role of Chiyoda, a paranormal investigator in the Tokugawa Shogunate’s magic department, players must solve puzzles, confront evil spirits, and uncover the dark history of a sinister family. The game poses life-threatening challenges that test not only your intellect but also your courage.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – October 13, 2023 – Chiyo, produced by independent game studio Nimbus Games and published by SCRYsoft, announced today that it will be released on Steam and PlayStation Store in approved regions on October 31, 2023. It is a single-player and first-person room escape style puzzle game[Chiyo]. In the same world as “Malice”, it is set in the Edo period of Japan and features a horror-themed situation. Players will take on the role of Chiyoda, a newly recruited paranormal investigator in the Tokugawa Shogunate’s magic department, on her first mission. Chiyo was sent to Ezu City, a coastal area in Shimane Prefecture, to investigate an abandoned mansion. According to reports, something unusual was happening in the mansion hidden in the woods. Inside the mansion, Chiyo will face evil spirits, plan puzzles, and uncover the dark history of a sinister family. All this threatens her life and death.
