Street Renaming and Official Proclamation
As part of the honors, Clark County officials announced that Park Avenue has been renamed Bruno Mars Drive. The street is located on the Las Vegas Strip between Park MGM and New York-New York.
Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson stated that the honor is reserved for entertainers with whom the city maintains a special relationship. Mars joins a small group of performers recognized with street names on the Las Vegas Boulevard, including Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr.
