NewJeans Speaks Out on ADOR’s Internal Issues

Members of NewJeans released a live statement on their newly opened YouTube channel to address the situation within ADOR, which is facing internal issues following the management change.

The members shared their feelings and opinions on the incident, which has sparked interest from fans around the world. In the live broadcast, they explained that they decided to speak out due to the pressure and threats faced by the people who worked with them.

“We feel uncomfortable because we can’t do anything,” they said. “It makes us worry about the future of the five of us.” The members also revealed that they were worried about different reactions to their statement, but they wanted to make it clear that it was a decision made by the five of them.

Reasons for Speaking Out

The members discussed their reasons for speaking out, saying that their fans still support them with all their might. “We thought the best way to address this issue was to speak out ourselves,” they said.

They also mentioned a meeting that had taken place with the executives, where they expressed their opinions but felt that their ideas were not conveyed clearly. “This kind of decision is not what we expected,” they said.

Concerns and Demands

Daniel expressed his concerns, saying that the dream they planned with CEO Min Hee Jin is falling apart. “What did we do wrong?” he asked. “After it was released, we had to part ways with the team we had always worked with.”

Harrin expressed his lack of understanding of the situation, saying that he doesn’t understand why there are outside influences trying to stop them. “Why do you think these things are helping and developing NewJeans?” he asked.

The members demanded that HYBE bring back Min Hee Jin as CEO and return the situation in ADOR to normal. “We want Min Hee Jin to return as CEO and oversee production at ADOR,” they said.

Background of the Situation

The situation at ADOR began on August 27, when Min Hee Jin was fired from her management position and appointed Kim Ju-young as the new executive. Although Min Hee Jin will continue to produce for NewJeans, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the proposed new contract.

Things got more complicated when ADOR removed several videos that the Dolphin Kidnappers team had produced for NewJeans, resulting in the filmmakers being unable to work with ADOR’s new management team.

NewJeans’ Recent Award

NewJeans recently won an award at the Fatto 2024 Music Awards, where Daniel and Hye In expressed their gratitude directly to Min Hee Jin. “We love and thank CEO Min Hee Jin so much for always taking care of us,” Daniel said.

NewJeans’ statement via live broadcast reflects the group’s dissatisfaction with the change in ADOR. They asked HYBE to bring back Min Hee Jin to manage the label and continue to be ADOR as before, so that the group can work steadily and happily in the future.
