Nihad Abu Al-Kumsan commented on the “Wissam Shuaib” crisis: Humiliation for women

Lawyer Nihad Abu al-Kumsan criticized the video by Dr. Wissam Shuaib, a gynecologist in Kafr al-Dawar, which he considered an insult to Egyptian women and an unfair generalization.

He indicated in a video posted on his official account on the TikTok platform that the doctor himself has damaged his reputation, and that there is a big difference between the ignorant and the educated in the way they deal with such issues.

Abu al-Qumsan explained that the doctor’s statement violated Egyptian law, particularly regarding the humiliation of women and defamation of their reputations.

She emphasized that such actions require legal accountability, as they negatively affect the image of Egyptian women and trust in medical institutions.

Abu al-Qumsan called for the need to hold everyone who commits such acts accountable, as they represent crimes punishable by law and are a great insult to Egyptian society.

As part of the public prosecution’s ongoing investigation into the video incident related to minor marriages and family issues, Dr. Wissam ordered the detention of Shuaib.
