North Korea-Ukra full-scale fighting imminent… “North Korea and Russia advance on Kursk within a few days”

The United States analyzed that a full-scale engagement between North Korean and Ukrainian troops is approaching within a few days in accordance with Russia’s plan to expand its offensive.

The New York Times (NYT), citing U.S. government officials, reported that Russia had gathered 50,000 troops, including North Korean troops, to recapture the Kursk region occupied by Ukrainian forces.

Ukrainian officials believe that a large-scale troop advance will take place within a few days.

The North Korean army, estimated to number more than 10,000 people, is being trained on the western edge of Kursk, and is believed to have been supplied with military uniforms, machine guns, sniper rifles, anti-tank missiles, and rocket-propelled grenades and other equipment from Russia.

However, U.S. authorities believe that they will not be incorporated into the Russian army and will fight as independent units, and will not receive armored vehicle support and will be sent into battle as light infantry.

It was discovered that North Korean troops received trench warfare training in Russia in addition to artillery fire and basic infantry tactics.

This means that some of the North Korean troops could be deployed in a frontal attack on Ukrainian military positions.

Kursk is a region in southwestern Russia that Ukraine, which was focusing on defending its territory, crossed the border by surprise and occupied in August, and at one point succeeded in occupying an area of over 1,000 square kilometers.
