[초이스경제 홍인표 기자] Jensen Huang (黃仁勳), CEO of Nvidia, the world’s No. 1 semiconductor company in the United States, advised “Run. Reported by the Taiwan Economic Daily.
CEO Jen-Hsun Huang asked 10,000 Taiwan University graduates on the same day, “Either you run for food, or you run from being food (like hunters).” It will be difficult to decide what you will run for, but run anyway,” the media reported.
He encouraged graduates to “admit straight away when you make a mistake, ask for help from others, endure pain and work hard to make your dreams come true. Make sacrifices and dedicate yourself to your life’s goal.”
CEO Jensen Huang said, “Nvidia has suffered massive failures three times since its inception.”
He said, “In the last 40 years, we have made personal computers, the Internet, and cell phones, and now we are facing the AI age.”
He began his congratulatory speech in Chinese, but most of his congratulatory speeches were conducted in English.
CEO Jensen Huang was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1963 and moved to Thailand with his family at the age of 9. He later received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
He was responsible for microprocessor design for famous semiconductor companies such as AMD, and after co-founding Nvidia in Silicon Valley in 1993, he has served as CEO for 30 years.
Recently, as the stock price has skyrocketed due to special AI, the company’s market cap is approaching $1 trillion, attracting a lot of attention.
