Patna: Union Minister Giriraj Singh has told AIMIM leader Azaduddin Owaisi not to look for Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Giriraj Singh was responding to Owaisi’s call for Muslims to take action to protect mosques.
Owaisi’s call came in the wake of a court ruling that the site where the Shiva lingam was found inside the Varanasi Gyanwapi Mosque should be protected.
Giriraj Singh said he was shocked by Owaisi’s remarks and that the country should move forward on the basis of the Constitution and court rulings. He said Owaisi should have faith in the court and not look at Jinnah Chameyan by threatening anyone.
