PAK to host Champions Trophy 2025, IND get 3 big tournaments till 2031

This will be the first major ICC tournament to be held in Pakistan since 1996

The ICC has decided on the venues for all cricket tournaments from 2024 to 2031. Pakistan will host the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. This will be the first major ICC tournament to be held in Pakistan since 1996.

India will host three world tournaments during this period. India will co-host the 2026 T20 World Cup with Sri Lanka. India will host the 2029 Champions Trophy and co-host the 2031 World Cup with Bangladesh.

PCB Chairman Rameez Raja tweeted that he is happy and proud that Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. “The news will excite Pakistan fans and cricket fans abroad,” he said.

The 2024 T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States and the West Indies. This is the first time the United States is hosting the World Cup.

In October-November 2027, Namibia will host the World Cup for the first time, along with Zimbabwe and South Africa. South Africa and Zimbabwe last met in 2003.

The T20 World Cup will be held in October 2028 in Australia and New Zealand. In 2030, England will host the T20 World Cup against Ireland and Scotland. This is the first time since 1999 that Ireland and Scotland have hosted a major cricket tournament.

The last tournament and venue currently scheduled by the ICC is the World Cup to be held in India and Bangladesh in October-November 2031.
