Additionally, another staff member, Rajitha, was instructed to take leave in relation to the incident. The manager, identified only as M, confirmed that a formal complaint has been lodged and is under legal investigation. P. Govindarajan has been notified of the developments.

Following the incident, a group called Janaka Samiti staged a protest at the school, demanding action be taken. The authorities stepped in, with Childline officers arriving at the school to gather statements from the affected students.

The controversy stems from a recent excursion to Mysuru, during which high school students allegedly faced misconduct from Sathyapalan. Although complaints were made to the school’s principal initially, it is claimed that no action was taken. Subsequently, students and teachers staged a protest, leading to police intervention and the suspension of the accused clerk. The headteacher has also faced consequences for her alleged failure to address the issue despite receiving complaints.
