Palmer leads Chelsea to a huge victory over Everton

Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer scored four goals in his team’s match against Everton in the English Premier League on Monday, leading his team to a 6-0 victory over its guest on Sunday in the English Premier League.

Palmer scored the first goal after 13 minutes when he dribbled past Jared Branthwaite, passed the ball between his feet, exchanged it with Nicholas Jackson, and then fired a direct shot from the edge of the penalty area past goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

Five minutes later, he scored the second goal, as Pickford blocked Jackson’s shot and turned it towards Palmer, who put it into the empty net with a header.

Pickford also gave Chelsea the third goal in the 29th minute when Palmer intercepted the Everton goalkeeper’s pass and shot brilliantly with his right foot, which is the weak foot, over the England goalkeeper.

This is Palmer’s second consecutive hat-trick at Stamford Bridge after he scored three goals, including two goals in stoppage time, in a 4-3 win over Manchester United on April 4.

Palmer has scored 22 goals so far this season, becoming the first Chelsea player to exceed 20 goals in a season since Eden Hazard in the 2018-2019 season.

Jackson also scored in the 44th minute, giving Chelsea a 4-0 lead in the first half, before Palmer returned and scored his fifth and fourth goal personally, and Alfie Gilchrist completed the six.

Chelsea rose to ninth place with 49 points, while Everton remained in sixteenth place with 26 points, two points behind the relegation places.
