Panasonic Korea launches the world’s first home 3D digital cam ‘TMT750’

SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — A home 3D camcorder that can shoot 3D images at home without special equipment will be released in Korea.

Panasonic Korea (CEO Unha Noh, panasonic.kr) announced on the 17th that it will release the world’s first home 3D digital camcorder, ‘HDC-TMT750’, which supports Full HD and can easily shoot 3D images.

The TMT750 digital camcorder is an all-weather digital camcorder that can shoot 3D images by attaching a 3D conversion lens (model name: VW-CLT1), and can also shoot general images (2D) when the 3D lens is detached. The 3D conversion lens uses two independent lenses, left and right, with a visual difference like the human eye, and records the subject at the same time so that you can feel a three-dimensional effect. The brightness of the 3D lens is F3.2, and the focal length is 58mm (35mm film equivalent).

To reproduce 3D video, insert an SD memory card with video stored in the slot of the 3D TV or connect the HDMI mini cable to the 3D TV and the D-Cam for playback. You can also use a DVD burner and AVCHD compatible recorder to record video on DVD or Blu-ray and play it back on a 3D TV.

The TMT750 D-Cam is equipped with a 1/4.1-inch 3MOS image sensor and separates the light entering the lens into three primary colors (red, green, and blue) and detects each, thereby expressing more vivid colors. Each MOS sensor supports 3.05 million pixels, for a total of 9.15 million pixels (7.59 million effective pixels).

Equipped with Crystal Engine Pro, which is equivalent to a computer CPU, it quickly converts vast amounts of data into Full-HD images, and expresses precise description and natural beauty with reduction technology that minimizes noise.

Even when the 3D lens is detached, the camcorder itself is equipped with a premium Leica 35mm lens, so wide shooting (2D) is possible. It supports 12x optical zoom and can shoot wide-angle and telephoto videos with a focal length of 35mm-420mm. Intelligent zoom up to 18x is supported.

The Leica lens brightness is quite bright, from F1.5 (wide angle) to F.2.8 (telephoto), ensuring fast shutter speed even in dimly lit environments. It supports Full HD (1920Х1080) shooting, and the ‘Intelligent Auto’ system combined with 6 artificial intelligence modes helps you take the best video.

The Intelligent Auto System includes ‘Hybrid OIS’, a powerful hand shake correction system, ‘Auto Focus Tracking’ that automatically tracks the focus of a subject to obtain accurate focus and exposure, ‘Face Recognition’ that recognizes faces of up to 15 people, and a specific person ‘Face Recognition’ that remembers and registers the face of a person, ‘Auto Exposure Compensation’ that detects only dark areas and automatically increases exposure, ‘Artificial Intelligence Scene Selection’ that recognizes the surrounding environment and automatically selects the appropriate scene mode, etc. It is a digital system that combines a total of six functions.

In particular, the hybrid OIS function is a combination of optical image stabilization and electronic image correction. It makes for a clean shot. When a 3D lens is installed, only the normal image stabilization function works.

It has a 5.1-channel stereo sound system and a zoom microphone function to vividly record the sound of the scene. The pre-rec function that records the video from 3 seconds before the record button is pressed, the Quick Power On function that helps you take quick video, and the manual ring function that allows you to set focus, exposure and zoom with your finger are also equipped. .

It is equipped with a 230,000-dot 3-inch wide touch screen LCD, a wide viewing angle that can be easily checked from any angle, and an auto power function that automatically adjusts 16 levels according to the surrounding conditions.

The ‘HDC-TMT750’ digital camcorder is saved in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video format and can be stored in 32GB internal memory and SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards.

It measures 66x69x138mm (WxDxH) and weighs 375g (excluding battery). The price is 2399,000 won with the TMT750 digital cam body and 3D lens as a basic kit. For purchase inquiries, call 02-533-8452.
