‘ParaNorman,’ Laika’s Stop-Motion Horror Film, Returns to Theaters for Halloween

Laika’s ’ParaNorman,’ a horror-infused coming-of-age story, is heading back to theaters for a limited run before Halloween.This follows the accomplished re-release of Laika’s debut feature, ‘Coraline,’ which earned an unexpected $33 million during its return to cinemas last summer.
Remastered in RealD 3D and 2D, ‘ParaNorman’ will play for one week. The re-release will also feature a new short film titled ‘The Thrifting,’ directed by Thibault LeClercq and writen by Chris Butler, who also directed ‘ParaNorman.’ Anna Kendrick, who starred in the original film, and Finn Wolfhard, of ‘Stranger Things,’ lend their talents to the short.
