Patrice Motsepe invitations Samuel Eto’o to strengthen ties with the Cameroon authorities for nationwide soccer success.
On Friday August 16, 2024, in Garoua, Patrice Motsepe, president of the Confederation of African Soccer (CAF), took benefit of Issa Hayatou’s funeral, to ship a robust message to Samuel Eto’o, president of the Cameroon Soccer Federation (FECAFOOT).
The South African CAF chief urged Eto’o to work intently with the Cameroon authorities, particularly the Ministry of Sports activities and Bodily Schooling.
“I ask my brother Samuel Eto’o to work in synergy with the Cameroon authorities and particularly the Ministry of Sports activities and Bodily Schooling,” declared Patrice Motsepe
This encouragement from Motsepe follows ongoing tensions between FECAFOOT and the Sports activities Ministry over the administration of the nationwide workforce. Regardless of Eto’o’s acknowledgment of the appointment of Belgium coach Marc Brys, he stays silent on different key members of the technical and administrative employees, equivalent to François Omam-Biyik, Alioum Boukar and nationwide choice coordinator Benjamin Banlock .
