Patrick McKenna, Retired Garda Síochána Member, Dies Peacefully
Patrick McKenna, a retired member of An Garda Síochána (the irish police force), passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23rd. He was residing in Hillcrest Park, Glasnevin, Dublin, and also had a home in Drumconney, county Leitrim.
Mr.McKenna was predeceased by his wife, Eileen, his parents Anne and John, and his sisters Mary, Kathleen, and Agnes.
Family and Remembrance
He is survived by his brothers John, Michael, Seamus, and jerry; his sisters Rose, Teresa, and Margaret; his daughters Orla, Gráinne, and Valerie; sons-in-law Declan, Jon, and Robert; and grandchildren Aoife, lochlan, Ealagh, Aisling, Shonagh, Aidan, and Aobha. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing will take place at his home on Tuesday, August 26th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 27th, at 12:00 noon in Our Mother of Divine Grace Church, Ballygall, Dublin. Following the Mass, burial will take place at St. Mary’s Church graveyard, Gortletteragh, County Leitrim (coordinates N41 HY61) at approximately 3:30 PM.
