Thursday, February 12, 2026 – The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am commenced today at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links, marking the start of the first round of this prestigious PGA Tour event. The tournament, a Signature Event, boasts a formidable field of 80 players vying for a substantial $20,000,000 prize.

A Star-Studded Field

The competition features 31 of the top 35 golfers in the World Golf Rankings, including current number one Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, who is making his 2026 debut as the defending champion. The entire top-10 is represented, with players like Justin Rose, Chris Gotterup, J.J. Spaun, and Xander Schauffele all teeing off this week. McIlroy secured victory in the 2025 tournament with a dramatic final-round 6-under 66, finishing two strokes ahead of Shane Lowry.

Unique Pairing Format

Adding to the event’s unique appeal, professionals are paired with amateur competitors ranging from athletes like Travis Kelce, Steve Young, and Pau Gasol, to CEOs and celebrities – even Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is participating. This distinctive format blends the highest level of professional golf with the excitement of celebrity involvement.

Course Rotation

Play over the first two rounds will be split between two courses: Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Pebble Beach Golf Links. This rotation challenges players with the diverse terrains and strategic demands of both courses.

Round 1 Tee Times and Broadcast Information

Round 1 began at 11:45 a.m. ET, with tee times staggered throughout the day. Some of the early pairings included Pierceson Coody and Ryo Hisatsune (Pebble Beach, 1st tee), and Joe Highsmith and Alex Smalley (Pebble Beach, 10th tee). At Spyglass Hill, Aaron Rai and Min Woo Lee teed off at 11:45 a.m. ET, followed by Alex Noren and Matt McCarty. Later pairings saw Si Woo Kim and J.J. Spaun starting at Pebble Beach at 11:58 a.m. ET.

Golf Channel is broadcasting live coverage from 3:00 p.m. To 7:00 p.m. ET. Streaming options are also available through the ESPN app (with a Select plan) and Fubo (offering a free trial), with featured group and hole streaming beginning at 11:45 a.m. ET on PGA Tour Live.

Looking Ahead

The tournament continues through February 15, 2026, with the remaining rounds promising intense competition and captivating displays of skill. The combination of a world-class field, challenging courses, and the unique amateur pairings makes the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am a highlight of the PGA Tour season. Fans can follow the leaderboard and schedule updates on the official PGA Tour website.

The presence of the entire top-10 ranked golfers underscores the significance of this event. Scottie Scheffler’s performance will be closely watched as he aims to maintain his number one ranking, while McIlroy will be looking to build on his 2025 victory and further cement his position among the elite.

Beyond the professional golfers, the participation of high-profile amateurs adds an extra layer of intrigue. The dynamic between the pros and amateurs is always a compelling aspect of the Pro-Am format, offering unique interactions and memorable moments on the course.

As Round 1 unfolds, the focus will be on how players navigate the challenging conditions at Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill. The ability to adapt to the varying terrains and weather patterns will be crucial for success. The leaderboard is expected to fluctuate throughout the day as players battle for position in this highly competitive field.
