Pepe Garment Premier League 2023: Cricket Tournament Promoting Social Welfare in Goa

Kochi: The Pepe Garment Premier League 2023 cricket tournament, organized by the Garment Cricket Association Trust, is scheduled to be held in Goa from October 30 to November 3.

A total of 12 teams will be competing in the tournament, with dealers, distributors, and executives from the textile sector joining different teams.

Today, the official release of the team shirts will take place at the prestigious Ernakulam Marriott Hotel, as announced by VMH President Ahmadullah and Secretary Sabijon during a press conference. The tournament will be conducted by Convener Malik, Joint Secretary Shaji Divakaran, and Genoy Varghese.

The Apparel Cricket Association Trust, a charitable association based in Tripunithura, Kochi, is entrusted with organizing programs for the mental, physical, and professional development of individuals working in the textile and clothing sector.

The proceeds from the tournament will be utilized for social welfare activities. During the devastating floods in Kerala, the organization played a vital role in providing aid to the affected areas. In addition, it extended financial support to house building projects carried out by local representatives.
