Egyptian National Team Faces Botswana in African Nations Qualifiers

The Egyptian national team, led by coach Hossam Hassan, is set to face Botswana in the second round of the third group of the 2025 African Nations qualifiers.

The match, scheduled to take place this Tuesday evening, will see the Pharaohs hosting Botswana at the Cairo International Stadium. The Egyptian team is looking to maintain their lead in the group after a 3-0 win over Cape Verde in their opening match.

The team’s composition has witnessed two changes compared to the last match, with Osama’s presence and Hamdi Fathi’s return to midfield. Hossam Hassan and Khaled Sowi have been included in defense, while Faisal will take on the outright striker position in the absence of Mustafa Mohammad due to injury.
