Go Woo-seok rushed across the Pacific Ocean on the 3rd to complete his contract with San Diego, get on the same plane as Park Chan-ho, the club’s adviser, and return as a ‘major league’ in three days with a new bag with San Diego club logo engraved on it.

He admitted that the situation on the day of the agreement was much more urgent than had been made known.

Go Woo-seok, who missed training at Jamsil Stadium shortly before leaving the country and at Petco Park, his new home stadium, said the morning after signing the contract that he was not yet a “real big leaguer” and vowed to not let his guard down until his time.

He left a message of gratitude to LG fans who have watched and supported his growth over the past seven years.
