Pokémon GO Introduces “Squad Cooperation” Mode: Form Teams and Double the Adventure

“Pokémon GO” Introduces Squad Cooperative Game Mode for Enhanced Teamplay

In a bid to enhance the collaborative aspect of the game, “Pokémon GO” has recently launched the highly anticipated Squad Cooperation game mode. This new feature allows up to 4 trainers to come together and form a team, taking their adventures to a whole new level. But it doesn’t stop there; team members can also unlock unique challenge tasks and special moves that double the damage. The possibilities for strategic gameplay and camaraderie are endless.

Create Your Squad and Take on Exciting Missions

The process of creating a team collaboration is simple. Trainers can easily set up their team from their personal profile page, generating a QR code or team code that enables others to join. Once the team is formed, members can return to the map mode and embark on thrilling missions together. Challenges can range from capturing elusive Pokémon, rotating supply station cards, to engaging in group battles. Each team formation lasts for an hour, during which members need to work cohesively to achieve their mission objectives.

It’s worth noting that Niantic has not placed a strict limit on the distribution range of team members. While the team collaboration feature is mainly designed for Pokemon GO Fest and Safari Zone locations, it can still be valid in other settings, fostering a stronger sense of community and connection.

Enhance Your Battle Strategy with Team Power

Team battles take on a new level of intensity with the inclusion of “Team Power.” When engaged in a team battle, trainers can unlock this power boost. By accumulating power energy, displayed as an icon in the lower left corner of the screen, the next special attack move becomes twice as damaging. This boosts the overall strength and effectiveness of the team. Additionally, the more team members who participate in the battle, the faster the power energy accumulates, providing a true advantage for coordinated teamwork.

However, one limitation of the current system is the inability to enter the group battle queue hall as a team. Team members must manually enter the lobby and specify their group battle using the battle code provided.

Track Your Team’s Progress with the Activity Review

For accountability and sharing purposes, team members can use the activity overview page to monitor each other’s Pokémon catches, throws, adventures, and battles. This creates a sense of shared achievement and allows for a more comprehensive understanding of each member’s contributions. Additionally, upon completion of a team mission, an activity review chart is generated, making it easy for members to share their successes on social media platforms.

Furthermore, to celebrate the launch of the team cooperation function, “Pokémon GO” has introduced limited-time investigation tasks. Completion of these tasks grants trainers exclusive Eevee-themed T-Shirt wearable props. With four unique variants – Water Eevee, Fire Eevee, Thunder Eevee, and more – collectors and fashion-forward trainers won’t want to miss this opportunity.

Embrace the power of teamwork and collaboration in “Pokémon GO” and embark on thrilling adventures with your fellow trainers. Together, you can conquer challenges, unlock special moves, and create unforgettable memories in the world of Pokémon.

Niantic has obviously not put an upper limit on the distribution range of team members, but it will at least be valid in the same Pokemon GO Fest / Safari Zone location park.
