About a month after the incident in which a civil servant from Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province died while suffering complaints, another civil servant belonging to the same city was found dead.

According to Gimpo Police Station, on the 25th, at around 8:12 am, colleague B received a report that Mr. A, a 40-year-old man who was a Grade 7 civil servant in Gimpo City, had gone missing. It was reported that Mr A left a text message for Mr B the night before, saying: “I’m sorry I couldn’t finish the job and left early.” When Mr B failed to contact Mr A the next day, he reported the matter to the police.

Dispatched police found Mr. A dead in a vehicle parked in the parking lot of a football field in Masan-dong, Gimpo-si, at around 8:35 am, about 20 minutes later. No suicide note was found. The police believe there are no criminal charges so far and are investigating the detailed circumstances, including whether Mr A has ever received complaints from his family and acquaintances.

It is known that at the time he continued to receive complaints relating to pothole repair work and that he complained that his personal information was being made public through a local online café.
