‘Police suspect who burnt Shibu Swamy’s ashram’: Trolly Surendran- K Surendran | Swami Sandeepananda Giri | Ashram Firing Case

Thiruvananthapuram ∙ BJP President K. Surendran ridiculed the incidents in the burning of Swami Sandeepanandagiri’s ashram at Kundamankadam. Prakash’s elder brother Prashant had given a statement to the Crime Branch that Prakash, an RSS worker who committed suicide last January, and his associates from Kundamankadavu had set the ashram on fire. In response to this, Surendran shared the troll.

He shared a photo of Jagadish’s character in the movie Vandanam carrying a dead body behind a bike. The text ‘Police comes with accused who burnt Shibu Swamy’s ashram’ has also been added. A fire broke out in the ashram on October 27, 2018 in the morning. Along with the damage to the ashram, three vehicles including two parked cars were burnt. There was also a wreath with the words “Adaranjali” written on it.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who visited the ashram, announced that the accused would be arrested soon, but the police remained in the dark for the past four and a half years. First, the City Police Commissioner’s special team failed to investigate and handed it over to the Crime Branch. It is a shame that despite taking many people into custody, collecting CCTV and mobile tower records and searching in various ways, the accused could not be found. The new statement came as a surprise when the government is seeking permission to close the investigation.
