Vatican City: Pope Francis has left the hospital after nine days of treatment for a stomach ailment. Vatican officials said he had returned to the Vatican.
On June 7, the Pope was admitted to the Gemali Polyclinic Hospital for a hernia operation. He left the hospital on Friday morning. Hospital officials said the surgery was a success.
Vatican officials said the Pope will be able to return to normal life within a few days.
